Our Goal

Under the name New Horizons, we are excited to grow and provide quality educational facilities and services to new students.

By January 2024, we aim to complete Phase 1.

Our Challenge

We have maxed out the space in the Kafakumba Center grounds. We were generously offered rooms to use as classrooms, but only temporarily. 

​The church owns land next to the center and we have been given permission to make this Kafakumba Christian School’s forever home!​

​Phase 1

Upon completion of New Horizons' funding goal of $100,000, construction will begin on 6th, 7th and 8th grade classrooms, as well as subject-specific classrooms for science and skills training. A half library and half computer room will complete this stage of the expansion.

​By prioritizing the younger grades, we hope to have students in their new room as early as 2024, building the remainder of the classrooms and facilities throughout that year.

The remaining construction, including 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade classrooms, will be completed by January 2025.

We want to see these kids through Grade 12 with a quality education, and set them up for a bright future. This is a huge endeavor - but one that has been made a possibility through your generous donations and sponsorships. 
 
Our end goal is for the businesses in Zambia to support the school’s advancement. Until then, we appreciate all the support we receive and can 100% promise you that every penny goes to making this school a reality for these high risk children who are going to change this little part of the world one day.
