Origins

Kafakumba Christian School was the vision of Lorraine Enright, who had a heart for the children in the communities surrounding Kafakumba Training Center. 

It began as an extension of God's Kids, an outreach program for the local villages. Lorraine saw that the children living adjacent to Kafakumba Training Center would benefit from a preschool to give them a  jump-start for their education.

After two years of preschool, we realized that the students would benefit even more from continuing their education with us.

The preschool was expanded at the beginning of the 2017 school year, and was registered as a private school with the Ministry of Education. ​

Kafakumba Transformational Outreach

The goal of Kafakumba is to equip the people of Africa with an understanding of the 7 Principles of the Kingdom of God in order to transform lives. We incorporate these principles in all of our ministries, including our school!

Growth 

This year, we are ministering to 174+ students from Reception (Kindergarten) to 9th grade. We strive to support our students and provide the education needed to become community pillars.

Goals
Show the students the love of God while discipling them in Biblical morals and principles 
Offer a safe learning environment to high-risk students

Provide an interactive, personalized education ​
Equip the students with life skills necessary so that they thrive

Located between Ndola and Kitwe in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia, Africa.
