Reception is the Zambian equivalent of Kindergarten.
We currently have fifteen students between the ages of four and six in our reception class.
As most of the students only know Bemba, the local language, the class is taught both in Bemba and English.

  • Basic English vocabulary
  • Numbers and letters
  • Personal hygiene and safety
  • How to participate in a structured class setting

The Reception class is energetic and enthusiastic for any and all learning! They love to sings songs as loudly as possible, and story time is very popular, almost as popular as nap time!
